Enrol online by following the prompts in our online enrolment portal, on the phone by calling our Customer Support team on 131 601, or in person at one of the TAFE NSW locations. But before you do, there are a few simple steps you need to complete first.
1. Choose which course you would like to study, and then how you want to study (full-time, part-time, or online). You may also need to decide on a TAFE NSW location where your course will be delivered or whether you prefer to study online.
2. Check the course’s entry requirements to ensure that it is at the right level for you, and that you have the required prior qualifications, skills, knowledge or experience needed to enrol.
3. You will need to have a unique student identifier (USI) to enrol. You can register for your USI here.Your USI tracks your records and results, and is used to provide evidence of your studies when you apply for a job or undertake further study.
4. Identify any Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or credits. This may reduce the amount of learning required and allow you to achieve your qualification faster. To apply for RPL, please prepare any relevant documentation (testamurs, transcripts, school qualifications, etc.) as these will be needed during the enrolment process.
5. Depending on your specific course, and your particular situation, the cost of your fees could vary. You may also be eligible for a subsidy, an exemption, or a scholarship. Be sure to check if your chosen course has any additional fees, equipment and protective clothing requirements. TAFE NSW offers a range of payment options, including payment plans, and VET Student Loans are also available for approved diploma and advanced diploma courses. Eligibility criteria apply.
